Professional opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services within a K-12 educational setting in New Orleans, LA. This full-time contract role extends through the current school year, from ASAP until May 22, 2026, requiring 35 hours per week with a standard workday of 7 hours plus an unpaid 30-minute lunch. The position involves delivering teletherapy to students under the VOCO program and requires expertise in remote speech-language pathology service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions (.e.g, telespeech, teletherapy) for K-12 students requiring speech and language support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Collaborate remotely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license AND full licensure in candidates resident state
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in teletherapy delivery
- Successful completion of technical screening
- One professional reference on file confirming qualifications and experience
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work within Louisiana schools strongly favored
- Familiarity with the VOCO SLP protocol is beneficial
